The Andro Extender is one of the products that has been around for a long time. Although it is not the first extender available this product was amongst the first to be developed and launched in the UK.
The Andro as many people refer to it has a good reputation because it has been around for so long.
The Andro extender is supplied in a good quality wooden box. The box is slightly bigger than other extender boxes and might be more difficult to keep hidden away.
I recently spent 5 minutes talking to Ahmed from Andro Medical who gladly gave me more information on the traction of the Andro devices.
Firstly there is 3 devices being advertised by Andro, the Andropenis Peyronie, Andropenis Postsurgery, & the Andropenis Mini. It was confirmed by Andro Medical that there is no difference between any of these advertised products other than the colour of the base and the end adaptors.
Andro Medical was also kind enough to give me more information on the way there Extenders are used. Rather than viewing the tension rates by spring force Andro measure the effectiveness of the pressure by adding extra rods to the extender. Andro said the initial force was just 600g and after 6 months should be increased up to 1200-1500g.
First impressions are good, the packaging is very attractive and the product inside is well protected when being delivered. However, I found a few problems with the Andro Extender and it let the product down badly.
Firstly, quality of the product was not as good as others we have seen and reviewed. Slight pressure on the plastic end adaptor and it bent in half. A device of this nature needs strength, especially when your stretching your penis at maximum tension. Don’t get me wrong, the chance of putting this sort of pressure on the adaptor when using the device is pretty slim but it would be nice to know if you are spending this much money that the device is made out of quality materials. After all, it is claimed to be a class1 medical device.
Secondly, and this is probably more important than the first point I feel for a class 1 medical product I was disappointed to find that the gold version of the Andro dosn’t actually come completely gold plated.
To explain in more detail, many extenders come in different variations including a gold plated version. Usually these are the extenders that cost the most money. Not only does the cost of the gold plating increase the value and price of the product but because the product is gold plated it offers a much more hygienic device. The device is also easier and better to keep clean. All of the Gold penis extenders we reviewed came with complete gold plated bars.
The Andro however sadly lacks in this department. The bars at the base of the extender are gold plated but the extra bars that come supplied with the extender are not, these bars are metal, I feel the Andro Gold is mis-advertised.
