X4 labs wide girth base

One of the options with the X4 labs extenders is a Wide Girth Base. This base is designed for anyone with a larger penis that might struggle to fit into a standard base. Due to our review being quite big for the X4 labs extender I have decided to do a total separate review for the Wide Girth Base. Below is my X4 labs wide girth base review.

I had seen you could upgrade your extender to the wide girth edition by paying an extra £50 so I thought I’d take a look to see if the extra 50 pounds was money well spent. I’ll let you decide after you have read my findings below.

“Specially designed for men with larger girth, the girth base will be comfortable and effective for even the largest!”

I have taken a photograph of the two bases side by side above. As you can see they both look very different. The base on the right is the standard base supplied with all X4 extenders. The base on the left is there Wide Girth Base. The difference in quality is undoubtedly obvious. The standard base supplied with all extender is actually quite good quality. Solid and strong as you would expect from a X4 labs extender costing over £400. The £50 upgrade base was very poor, thin cheap plastic, it easily bends and has no strength to it. Very difficult to see why it costs so much as it looks like it cost about 5 cents to make.

So I after checked out the Wide Girth Base I couldn’t actually see why this base would actually make a difference to anyone that actually had a wide penis. The base is exactly the same width as the standard base.

The standard base is solid plastic where the wide girth base is very thin and weak, because it is so thin when you look at the device it looks like it is bigger but when in reality they are both exactly the same width. The different in size comes from the height. Something that is not going to make a difference for someone with a wider penis. And certainly isn’t going to increase girth any more than the standard base. Before I ruled out the wide girth base I thought I’d actually put the base to the test first. I needed to see if this base actually did what it was advertised to do. For this test I needed a wide penis so I turned to a online sex shop for a wide sex toy.

First I tried the standard base unit on our test dummy. You can see from the picture below that the standard base is not quite wide enough to fit our toy. So lets the take a look at the wide girth and see if that will fit our wide toy.

The Wide Girth Edition below is actually no better as you can see below than the standard base unit. There is plenty of room left in the wide girth base if you had a very odd shaped penis that was tall and not wide.

So, I needed to find out how the Wide girth adaptor would actually fit onto a wide penis, after all the X4labs website is telling me if you have a wide penis this adaptor will fit you better but as you can see from the pictures above then it doesn’t matter how wide your penis is, because the two adaptors are the same width then this adaptor is a waste of money.

I persevered and tried to find a way for the wide adaptor to fit a wider penis. The only possible way to get the adaptor to fit better but not perfectly was to twist the adaptor on it’s side so a tall adaptor became a wide adaptor.  I thought I had actually found a way fit the wide base so it would work but once in place I realised that the bars were now tilted to the top and bottom of the extender meaning the end adaptor and strap would not fit and it would not work.

So all in all I have decided that paying an extra £50 for a wide girth adaptor is a rip off and you will only be wasting your money.
